Lincoln Peirce’s Big Nate is a realistic fiction book. It's about how Nate gets a very important job being the fleeceball team captain but when it comes time to decide your team's name he doesn't exactly get what he wants. He’s made to be partners with his archenemy Gina. This book is really funny and I recommend this book for ages 8-10.

"Big Nate is funny, big time" —Jeff Kinney, author of Diary of a Wimpy Kid
For fans of Jeff Kinney and Raina Telgemeier, here comes the second novel in the New York Times bestselling Big Nate series.
BIG NATE will surpass all others!
But it won’t be easy. He’s stuck with Gina, his all-time enemy, in a class project for his least favorite teacher Mrs. Godfrey, aka Godzilla. To make matters worse, Gina ALSO ends up on his fleeceball team, right when Nate is set to win his first fleeceball championship ever. This is his moment for glory, but Gina's sure to steal his thunder, or ruin everything.
Will Nate win or lose? Pass or fail? Or end up in detention . . . AGAIN?
Meet BIG NATE, self-described genius and definitely NOT the teacher’s pet in this comic-strip novel perfect for anyone who's ever been to middle school.

In BIG Nate strike again Nate got his sister and her boyfriend to a break up strike 1. he wanted to make a world record and to be on TV and he did but hurt himself badly STRIKE 2. he had to partner up with Gina but Gina failed and Nate passed weird but great STRIKE 3. This could have been strike 4 but Nates Jenny M'lady did not fall in love with him SAD. BUT GO GO BIG NATE.
Big nate is a very funny book series. I like all of the comic strips especially with Jenny and Gina. He's always funny, and hurting himself. I give it a 4, even though it is good, I like other books better. But, good book!
I love this book the best
I love Big Nate!
This story is marvelous. The premise was epic, I loved SPOFFs and the Spoffy was so stupid but funny. This story is great, I recommend this SO MUCH. Everyone deserves to read a star book like this.
I haven't finished this book yet, but I already like it! I've read a bunch of books in this series so far! Nate has a bunch of school work to work on... Including the report of Ben Franklin with (eek!) Gina!? Will he be able to survive the humiliation of working with an A+ student when his Social Studies grade is terrible?
This book is so funny
