This comic book is pretty mediocre. It's about these three kids who all have different backgrounds. Oona is an awkward sand dancer who has a bit of a rebellious spirit. An is a poor boy who has an special power. Jax is an athlete with a special advantage that almost no one knows about. They all meet in their own ways because of an attack on Beacon Day. Beacon Day is when the beacon of the Sand Castle is lit, but the attack was from the Toki race, and the Toki people took all other sand dancers so it would be impossible to light the beacon. With Oona, An, and Jax on a quest to light the beacon, they start to learn more about each other, and set up the start of a whole series. The book is kind of confusing. This book is geared more towards anime and comic book fans. I give this book 3 stars.
