first, my teacher made me read it when I thought it would be boring. Now that I read it, it is really intresting, sad, joyful, and mean.
I do not know why, but just found some id eas very repetitive and boring. Papa's death was mentioned constantly throughout the book, but i honestly think the slave camp concept was decent. However, this book has real potential.
My teacher made me and i loved loved loved it.Best book ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This book is great. You learn alot about some workers and what they went thought. You go thought the life of esperanza and how she went from riches to rages.
I think it was not a great time for those Mexicans when they were looking for work. People didn’t really judge people correctly, just as people don’t today, either. I think it is a big part of California’s (my state) history!
So sad and touching!
Really good book, its about a rich girl who has to get accustomed to living like a 'commoner.'
I read this book 2 years and I loved it!
This book is exciting and interesting!
