Katie and the Cupcake Cure is not actually that bad. I thought it was better those Whatever After books, those were cheesy. I suggest it for reading.

I HAVE THE BOOK AT HOME I JUST GOT IT AND I JUST READ IT
This book is a quick, easy read. However, that doesn't stop it from being fantastic! I love this book and the whole series that goes along with it!
IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you should totally read this book
Katie lives with her mom and is very excited for her first day of school. She meets a girl named Mia on the bus. During lunch she meets two other girls named Emma and Alexis who are best friends. They decide to have a cupcake club. When they here about a fundraiser for the school they enter it ,but, the PGC ( popular girls club ) say they have something AWESOME and the cupcakers don't know if they can pull it off.
It is a great book. I enjoyed reading it and would recommend someone to read it. It is a great book because it is friendship related. Katie was not scared of middle school not like most kids! Katie thought middle school should be no difference from elementary school. But, she was wrong! Her best friend Callie was hanging out with some mean girls she didn’t know at the bus stop. Katie felt sick; she and Callie had been best friends since babies. Callie was walking to school with the mean girls (Katie didn’t know), while Katie was taking the bus. On the bus Katie met a nice girl named Mia who asked if she wanted to sit with her. At lunch she sat with Mia and two other girls named Alexis and Emma. Katie had cupcakes for dessert. She shared the cupcakes with her new friends (she only had four cupcakes). Next Friday she brought in cupcakes for dessert again. The girls decided to make the Cupcake Club together. Callie was in the PGC (Popular Girls Club) so she couldn’t be in the Cupcake Club. Well Callie could be in the Cupcake Club and PGC; but the boss in the PGC named Sydney wouldn’t let Callie. She didn’t even let Katie sit at their table since Katie isn’t in the PGC. Wow so mean Sydney.
Katie brown's best friend Callie has come back from camp and seems to have a whole new group of friends. On the first day of middle school it is obvious that Callie is part of the Popular Girls Club and katie isnt. She is miserable until she bites into a yummy cupcake that brings her happiness. When she looked around, she saw a bunch of other kids looking miserable. Thats when katie has the idea to start a cupcake club, to bring the cupcake joy to others. I enjoyed reading this book, it is relatable to and i would recommend it to ages 8-12
WARNING: THIS BOOK WILL MAKE YOUR MOUTH SALIVATE AND YOU WILL HAVE A DESIRE FOR CUPCAKES... Wow while I was reading this book, I literally craved for cupcakes... Anyways it starts off with Katie, who her former best friend ditched Katie for the PGC... Now wondering what to do without her best friend... well I mean former best friend... she leans on her mom's cupcake... yes, a cupcake isn't a person.. at least it's a noun, so it kind of counts...but the cupcake plays such a significant role for the four girls: Katie, Mia, Alexis, and Emma... this yummy cupcake brings them together, to start a cupcake club...I really liked this cute, short read... You could probably relate some problems in the book, because this book is vied for middle-schoolers... So if you want to light-hearted, corny, short read about friendship (and you can relate your problems with this book) you'll love this cute read! Enjoy!
I think this book is really cool to read. I read a cupcake diaries book before and it was pretty good. I am really interested to find out what the cupcake cure is.
This is such a wonderful book for girls. It emphasizes friendships and getting along with others. Katie is a very funny and nice girl. She loves cupcakes and I loved this read!
