Kids Books - Science Fiction

I like this book because it has a na'vi dictionary, na'vi history and RDA catalogs. When Avatar came out in 2009 it was a big hit, and when I saw it in 2012 I Give it a 8.5 out of 10 review.

I LOVE National Geographic Kids books. Adventures are the best books too.

I really want to read this book can anyone tell me what it's about.

This book is face paced and exciting, and it has lots of mystery and adventure. A girl named Sophia is left to face the world with only a boy named Theo when her uncle is kidnapped. They must travel a long ways to find Sophia's Uncle's old college friend (who he might possibly still be in love with). I think my favorite part of this book so far is the way the author describes the memory maps, which are the type of maps that her Uncle makes. Memory maps seem so magical, yet scientific too. Overall, I would say that this book is good for ages 8 and above. The content is sometimes difficult to understand and some things are slightly scary. If you like fantasy, mystery, adventure, or action books, this book fits the bill.

If you like magic candy, stamps that let you fly,run really fast, breath underwater, be really strong, ferocious villains, and humour then this is the book for you. The main character Nate is the best. This is the sequel so I think you should read The Candy Shop War first.

At first I didn’t like this book one bit. I thought it was super boring, and had way too much description, the only thing keeping me reading it was the fact that I wanted to do a review on the book for Dogo Books. But after about the first 100-150 pages or so the story started to pick up and get better. The Dragon’s Tooth is about Cyrus and Antigone Smith trying everything they can to find their brother Daniel. Daniel was kidnapped the night after a crazy old guy named William Skelton comes to their motel one day and makes Cyrus and Antigone take an oath swearing their allegiance to the Order Of Brendan. He also gives Cyrus a key chain with a small silver key, a slightly bigger golden key, two other little trinkets, and a tooth in a silver sheath. Along with the key chain William Skelton gives Cyrus a silver snake. After that what happens next is pretty good, it even got me wanting to know what happened next in the second book.

When Lacey meets Paige, which is her best friend, she also meets her fairy godmother, but the fairy godmother ends up getting stuck in her hair, so Lacey ends up having to do all the magical chores. Follow both friends through these twists and turns to get everything back to normal.
