Moon! Earth's Best Friend (Our Universe)

Moon! Earth's Best Friend (Our Universe)

By Stacy McAnulty

This is a nice and informational book that mentions lots of facts about the moon. It catches the readers attention and makes them feel like the Moon is a person who is talking to you in a friendly way. It makes stars and the Moon appear human, but Stacy McAnutly wrote in such a way that I actually believed that the moon was a person talking to me.

Rescue and Jessica: A Life-Changing Friendship

Rescue & Jessica is an amazing book that shows us how strong friendship can be. Jessica is a kid who gets lots of surgeries because her foot is not normal. She really feels like she needs a companion who could offer her support when times are tough. She chose a dog named Rescue, and they bonded together. The truth is that they both helped each other - Jessica helped by getting Rescue away from the training and Rescue helped her by offering support. The Villain Virus (NERDS Book Four)

The Villain Virus (NERDS Book Four)

By Michael Buckley

The fourth book in this series has an awesome cliffhanger! It is a must read! Agent "Flinch" is observing a virus that seems to turn everyone into villains (hence the title of the book). When he too gets the virus, he discovers that he beat it and he is now immune to it. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about his teammates. When his teammates turn against him (and themselves), Flinch has to go in the body of Heathcliff's (their former teammate) body to turn off the source of the virus. But there might be another traitor in the midst...

Attack of the BULLIES (NERDS Book Five)

Attack of the BULLIES (NERDS Book Five)

By Michael Buckley

Warning! This review contains spoilers. Someone kidnaps the president's daughter, and it's up to the NERDS to save her. They soon learn that Ms. Holiday kidnaped the president's daughter, so she could lead a team called the BULLIES. Their plan: go back in time and make sure the NERDS never existed. When her teammates start disappearing one by one, it's up to Pufferfish (with a little help from a newly reformed Heathcliff and Agent Brand) to save everyone. What I thought of it: It defiantly wasn't the best. I hoped for a better ending to the series. I really didn't like how in the end, pretty much every kid in the school became one of the NERDS. There are many reasons why that won't work. Reason 1: How are they going to explain to the school staff why all the kids in the school keep missing classes? Reason 2: How are they going to keep track of them all? In the end of the book, Pufferfish says something about organizing them, but how effective will that really be? Reason 3: How are they going to train them all? They can't effectively train hundreds of kids, unless they take them in smaller groups. But that would take a really long time, and the world will always need saving. The list could go on and on. One thing I did like was that they seemed to have completely dropped the whole "Duncan/Matilda" thing. I guess Mr. Buckley realized what a bad pairing that was. Overall it was ok.

Fancy Nancy: Pajama Day (I Can Read Level 1)

Fancy Nancy: Pajama Day (I Can Read Level 1)

By Jane O'Connor

I wanted to read this book because my friend likes this book and i like it too. In the book, it is pajama day and Fancy Nancy's two friends have the same pajamas. Fancy Nancy was sad because she felt excluded. In the end, they all had the same pajamas. It was a good book.
