It was a great book, but not my favorite. I do love the art and the story's line. It teaches that everyone is different in some way or another. It also teaches that you should never judge someone for their disabilities.It also teaches that if you keep practicing and practicing you will always achieve what you are practicing for.In conclusion I do like this book, and it has great art and a good story line , but it's just not for me.

Thank You Mr. Falker is a great book. It is a great book because it shows the readers that not all people see the same way as others I also like the art in this book it is very very beautiful. I like how this book tells us an important message and that message is "not all people hear, look, see, talk or learn the same way as everyone else so make sure you are kind. This book is a great book.
Great book! Trisha was a girl who couldn't read, when she tries to read a book filled with words to her it looked like a bunch of scribbles...everytime she tries to read out loud to the class, the class points and laughs, she had to deal with bullies through out the year. Poor Trisha had dyslexia. She believes she can never read. Her teacher, Mr. Falker helped her out through out the school year, making her into a very good speller and reader. This book is heartwarming and a true story. It's also a picture book. I recommend it to you!
This book is amazing it shows that you should not make fun of someone even if they cannot read and I also love this book because it is based on the authors experience!

Learning to read is not easy, it takes practice. Once you know how to read it's like you're on an adventure! Patricia Polacco was different. She was not like the other kids. Why? Because she couldn't read. She had something called Dyslexia. All the other kids learned one word after the other and then they could read sentences, sentences became paragraphs and paragraphs became a chapter and soon the other kids could read a whole entire book, while Patricia was stuck on the same word. She tried over and over but words didn't make sense to her. The letters were like squiggly lines to her. As she grew older kids started teasing her and that led to bulling. One day she met her new class teacher, Mr. Falker! He helped her understand letters and soon she could read words and then came sentences very soon paragraphs and then one entire book! Thank you, Mr. Falker! My thoughts: I really liked this book! It teaches you and me to never give up! You might be wondering what Dyslexia is, it's a medical condition which makes it very difficult to read. I think this book is for ages 4+. I hope you will give this book a try!

An amazing story! Patricia Polacco could not read until she was in 5th grade. Reading was her one weakness. Kids made fun of her and teased her about it. I wanted to read this book because, my love for this author (Patricia Polacco) is MAD. This book was amazing. It reminded me of the struggles I have at school! I recommend this book to every one 4 or 5+.
It really made me feel like I wasn't alone because my school gives me extra help with learning how to read, but I don't get bullied by any of the boys at my school.
