Once upon a time, a girl had a father, a prince, a society of friends. Then they betrayed her, and she destroyed them all.
Adelina Amouteru’s heart has suffered at the hands of both family and friends, turning her down the bitter path of revenge. Now known and feared as the White Wolf, she and her sister flee Kenettra to find other Young Elites in the hopes of building her own army of allies. Her goal: to strike down the Inquisition Axis, the white-cloaked soldiers who nearly killed her.
But Adelina is no heroine. Her powers, fed only by fear and hate, have started to grow beyond her control. She does not trust her newfound Elite friends. Teren Santoro, leader of the Inquisition, wants her dead. And her former friends, Raffaele and the Dagger Society, want to stop her thirst for vengeance. Adelina struggles to cling to the good within her. But how can someone be good, when her very existence depends on darkness?

This is one of my favs! I read this book in like 3 days and is soooo intersting!!
This is the second book of The Young Elites series. Did not disappoint me. The story only gets more interesting. Please read this book, or read the first book.
This looks intresting
Yet again Marie Lu makes my gut twist and my emotions run high. With Adelina still struggling with her loyalty where the last book left off, you wonder if true love can really last through death or if there ever was real true love. Marie Lu will gain complete control of your bodily functions and it's almost impossible to avoid sweating, crying, and gasping. I wish I could read this again like the first time. I won't hesitate to give this book 5 stars.
Absolutely thrilling. This book had my heart wrenched from the inside out and I don't hesitate to give it five stars. Marie Lu somehow manages to make me root for Adelina to come back- for her to win her inner struggle to stay good. My heart sincerely aches for her. A true masterpiece- how could a book make me feel like this? Whoever is reading this review get this book RIGHT NOW.
