In the third edition to 43 Old Cemetery Road, a mysterious dog arrives at the door of the mansion. Seymour is overjoyed, where as his parents, ghost Olive C. Spence and old man Ignatius B. Grumply are less excited about it- especially when the dog begins to bark all night long! The dog used to belong to the late Noah Brett, maybe that is the reason for his barking? Or perhaps Bretts' kids fighting like cats and dogs over his money is the reason. I love this series, and I hope you do, too!

When a dog arrives at Spence Mansion, Seymour is overjoyed. His adoptive parents, Ignatius B. Grumply and Olive C. Spence, are less enthusiastic—especially when Secret, the dog, begins barking all night long. Is it possible Secret just misses his old companion, the late Noah Breth, whose children are fighting like cats and dogs over their father’s money? Or does Secret have a secret that, in the end, will make the entire town of Ghastly howl with delight?

love it very interesting 2nd book in cemetery road series
This was a good book but not the best Klise sister book. I liked it because the answer to the mystery was known at the end to the reader, but the characters were too oblivious to see it. It is the third book in the Old Cemetery Road series. This time a millionaire in the town has died, and his two greedy, selfish kids are here to grab his fortune. What they don't know is that their father was smarter than they thought. Also, the boy finds a dog. Everyone should read this great book if you like the other ones in the series.
