Hatchet was a very intriguing book with lots of twists,turns and wowing scenarios. I believe this book was very well written with many upsetting and glorious changes to Brian. At many times it was disappointing because things went wrong all the time for Brain, therefore I did not like that because I enjoy happy endings. I admit at many times it could be boring but at the same time it was funny and worthy of reading. SPOILERS: My favorite part of the book is when Brian discovered how to make fire, because he had a good future ahead of him(NOW). My favorite character would have to be Brian because he is extremely smart and thoughtful of nature. I loved this book and I hope for those of you out there reading this review will have a second thought about reading this book.

This is a great book for those who love outdoor adventure stories and being lost in the wilderness. This book is similar to Robinson Crusoe and other adventure stories. This is a very detailed book which is one of the reasons I love it so much. You can tell if a book is good by how it impacts your imagination and this book does so. After reading it for the first time I had dreams for months and short stories I wrote for school just from reading this book. I have read this book 8 times and am still loving it. Great book for guys and girls!
