My 5th grade students are very excited to read nonfiction from these types of books! We don't have a school library, so I am always looking to supplement our classroom books.

My 5th graders would be so inspired by these stories. I love giving them ideas of possibilities--helping them build their future stories by showing them detailed portraits of other hardworking individuals who have persevered.
